Youth Baseball Network Names Axe Bat Official Bat

BOSTON, MA (June 8, 2015) – Youth Baseball Network (YBN), a newly formed marketing and online media company dedicated to the Youth Baseball Industry, has announced that the Axe™ Bat from Baden Sports will serve as the official bat of Youth Baseball Network and the YBN National Championship. 

The Axe™ Bat is an entirely new concept for bats where science meets tradition. The axe-shaped handle is ergonomically designed to give a player added benefits such as: improved grip stability, better bat control, more efficient power transfer, and a reduced risk of injury. The Axe™ Bat is approved at all levels of play in baseball, fastpitch, and slowpitch. This includes Pro, NCAA, NFHS, USSSA, ASA, Pony, Little League, ISA, and more.Youth Baseball Network’s initial marketing effort is the YBN National Championship ~ an annual ‘Tournament of Champions’ played every August in Branson, Mo.  It will feature the 12U Champions of several major youth baseball organizations.  The premiere championship will be Aug. 19-22, 2015. 

The organizations participating in 2015 are: AABC, AAU, CABA, Dizzy Dean and NABF.  YBN anticipates additional organizations joining the tournament in 2016.
