The 2016 Youth Baseball Network National Championship will be played in Branson, Missouri the week of 16 August. However, the actual Road to Branson™ commences in June with the playing of two major organization’s Championship tournaments.
The first of five major, national championships to qualify for the free berth to the YBN National Championship is the AAU Grand Nationals. The AAU 12U Championship will be played June 19-25 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida.
In addition, the YBN National Championship host team – the 12U Missouri State Champions, will be crowned in June by Greater Midwest Baseball (GMB). The GMB qualifying procedure in Missouri has begun, with the MO State Champs crowned June 22 at a site (to be announced) in St. Louis.
Three additional national qualifying World Series tournaments (CABA, NABF, and Dizzy Dean) will be played in July at locations in Marietta, GA, Hackensack, NJ, and Southhaven, MS, respectively.
The fifth qualifying tournament – the AABC Pee Wee Reese World Series, will be played August 4-7 in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico.
